Hey! So, I'm an editorial photographer who specializes in portraiture, and reportage. I'm good at making something outta nothing. I naturally gravitate towards the quirky, off-kilter side of life. I like to celebrate the mundane and show-off the world in a kinda ridiculous, humorous way. ...but if the subject matter is somber, I can be pretty dark, too. ...in my photos. I'm a pretty upbeat fella.

24 Hours of LeMons Pacific Northworst GP
Matt Roth
Excerpts from a Photo Essay on the 24 Hours of LeMons, focusing on the Greasemonkey culture who try (and often fail) to keep $500 (or less) junkers running during the most economic and flamboyant endurance auto race circuit in the U.S. The 24 Hours of LeMons name riffs on the European Le Mans endurance race for million dollar cars.

Anaheim , California - April 11, 2015: Prince DiNnY, The Marquis of Sarnoff, foreground, stands for a portrait with his boyfriend, Grand Duke Travis of WestArctica during the MicroCon 2015 Cotillion at the Anaheim Unitarian Universalist Church in California Saturday April 11, 2015. WestArctica is 1/8th of Antarctica. Last year Grand Duke Travis (Travis McHenry) registered WestArctica as a non-profit that advocates for penguins and brings attention to climate change's impact on Antarctica's ice sheets. Prince DiNnY is WestArcticaís Chief Technical Officer. When DiNnY started dating Grand Duke Travis, he thought the micronationalists thing was a bit odd, but, grew to embrace it.
