Max Posner

Max Posner is a photographer born and based in Washington D.C. His work in documentary media began producing a radio series for WRIR Richmond Independent Radio about underrepresented city green space and recreational infrastructure. With the nonprofit James River Outdoor Coalition he created video PSAs to educate users on issues affecting the James River Park System. In 2017 he left Richmond to work as an outdoor educator and guide in the Pacific Northwest, before moving to New York City in 2018. In June, 2019 he graduated from the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program at the International Center of Photography. He is currently a Production Assistant with the NPR Science Desk in Washington D.C.
