Max Salomon is a multiple Emmy award-winning executive, producer, writer and director of documentaries & non-fiction programming. With a reputation as a highly visual and inventive storyteller, he’s told a wide variety of stories: from reality-series and gritty investigative work, to fresh and imaginative approaches to Science, History, Archeology and Technology.
In addition to his work in the traditional long-form media, Max is also a leading producer of VR, digital content and 2nd screen media. He’s produced digital short-form series for numerous clients, including a hugely successful viral media campaign for the International Rescue Committee, and a hit tech series of digital shorts for TED.
Recently, Max has been pioneering the development of VR content (virtual reality 360 cinema) for the Oculus platform. A sought-after strategy consultant for this new media, he’s given talks on the future of television, advertising, digital media and VR to a wide variety of audiences, including the annual gathering of fortune 500 CEOs and corporate directors. He’s currently producing a VR series in partnership with the mobile provider Orange and the Palace of Versailles. He’s also developing similar projects for the Sultanate of Oman, Discovery Networks, National Geographic and A&E.
