Based in Atlanta, McCabe is respected as a prolific contributor of quality productions for television, radio and the internet. She established Soldiers Radio and TV, Atlanta, considered a unique and successful demonstration of effective and synergistic teleworking solutions. In this position, she pursued her passion of telling the Army story by engaging with military and interagency public affairs offices around the world, aiding in the development of strategic messaging for the U.S. Army and DoD.
McCabe is the Army’s first civilian broadcast journalist to have been selected to participate in Training With Industry with CNN at the network’s World Headquarters in Atlanta. She has received numerous DoD, Army, and Industry awards, to include the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Civilian Service, and is a two time recipient of the Defense of Freedom Award due to injuries received in Iraq and Afghanistan.
