When Senada closes her eyes at night , she is back in Bosnia. Serbian soldiers are waiting in front of her doorstep, and are shooting the neighbors. She is laying in her bed with all her clothes on. Ready to escape. She has seen so many being killed that they almost can fill up the mass grave , which is located a few hundred meters from her house . The place where also her brother is buried.
In 1992 Senada came to Denmark after fleeing from the Bosnian civil war. The horrors of war marks her still today.
Every night , she has nightmares, and the senses are constantly on the highest alert.
Since arriving in Denmark 23 years ago , Senada has not guessed what she has failed. First when she in summer went to the doctor with pain in the hip , she found out that it really is her mental condition that is wrong .
