Miriam Strong comes from the Pacific Islands and grew up in New-Zealand and Australia. She started as a photographer shooting lifestyle, portraiture, and documentary, and slowly moved into filmmaking from her desire to explore issues beyond what can be portrayed by a single image. “LESS” is Miriam’s debut Short documentary and as a queer woman she is particularly drawn towards sharing stories related to the LGBTQ+ experience. Miriam endeavours to continue making documentaries and continue with her photography roots.
