Ian Webb began shooting black and white 35mm photography at age 14; he developed his own film and printed his own pictures.
Ian continued to study the art of black and white photography until age 20.
In 2010, Ian received the “Best Cinematography Achievement Award” from The Art Institute. He has also served as Cinematographer and Operator for two music videos, both of which received the ‘Best Program Music Video’ award at The Sacramento International Film Festival.
In June 2011, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from The Art Institute of California, Sacramento.
Ian understands the value of working with local crew to achieve consistent, quality productions, but never turns down an opportunity to collaborate with new, creative faces.
He can operate a multitude of digital film cameras including, RED, Sony CineAlta, Canon Cinema EOS, DSLR, and Panasonic.
Ian has worked for Adobe, Fox Sports, The Science Channel, HGTV, The Travel Channel, and American Eagle Outfitters.
Ian presently works as a freelance cinematographer and digital video editor.
