Muyi Xiao

Muyi Xiao is a photographer, producer, videographer based in Shanghai. She was chosen as one of the seven Magnum Foundation and Human Rights fellows in 2015 and came to NYC to study for a month. She went to International Center of Photography New Media Narrative Program for one-year further study after that. She went back to China to work as a freelance after graduating in June 2016. Her works have been featured on international and domestic publications including but not limited to New York Times, BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, Wall Street Journal, The Paper, and exhibited in China, U.S., Singapore, Cambodia. Her freelance clients include Reuters, Al Jazeera, ChinaFile, Tencent, Greenpeace.
