I work as a freelance Photographer and Filmmaker, currently splitting my time between New York City and Santa Fe, New Mexico. I'm half English, half American and was born and raised in Hong Kong.
In January 2017 I was nominated for the British Council Social Impact Award for my project Lia, documenting the transition of Angelita Romero from male to female. I’m a graduate of Parsons, The New School for Design and an alumnus of the Eddie Adams Workshop, Class of XXIX.
My work has been shown in publications such as Buzz Feed News, The South China Morning Post, National Geographic Expeditions and The Daily Mail.
Some people call me Marky.
