MYRTO APOSTOLIDOU

Myrto Apostolidou is a professional photographer working and living in Athens Greece. Her work has been recently published in ''Athens Voice'', ''K'', ''Eleutherotypia'', ''Conteiner'', the monthly magazine ''Cinema'' and the art magazine ''Highlights''.
She has participated in various group exhibitions like the Kythera Photography Meeting, the month of Photography, the Photobiennale of Thessaloniki, the Modern Art museum of Thessaloniki, the Art Foundation (TAF) as well at the gallery ''Aggathi''. Her first solo exhibition took place in 2009 at the Manifactura Gallery and her second at the Athens Film Centre for the premiere of ''Blackfield'', a film by Vardis Marinakis.
In the autumn of 2011 she and 5 other greek photographers were selected to exhibit their work at the Fluss Centre in Wolkersdorf, Austria (Curator: Nina Kassianou). In September 2012 she exhibited part of the series ‘’Gong’’ at the international Photobiennale of Noorderlicht.
