A respected journalist and lifestyle writer based in Nice, France, Nancy swapped the chilly temps of Canada for year-round sunshine on the Côte d’Azur in 2001 and became a French citizen in 2010.
Her reputation in the South of France and Monaco has had an international dimension for some time. From reporting for AFP and CBS News for the Angelina Joli twins' birth in Nice in 2006 to the Nice Bastille Day attack on July 14, 2016 (BBC World Service, BBC Northern Ireland, CBC, CTV News, Global News, Morning Report New Zealand). In 2017, she had an exclusive interview with Prince Albert at his home.
Well connected in Monaco and knowledgeable of the ins and out of the Principality, Nancy was Editor-in-Chief of Monaco Life, the leading daily online news in English, until May 2018. Prior, she was Editor-in-Chief of the Riviera Reporter Magazine for 15 years.
A passionate swimrunner, Nancy is currently Editor of the online ÖTILLÖ SwimRun Life Magazine plus a contributor to Women’s Running Magazine in the US.
She has penned for various airline magazines, such as Norwegian Airlines N Magazine, easyJet Traveller, Iberia Ronda and Wizz, and for over a decade has written for Fodor’s Travel Guides (France, Provence & The Côte d’Azur and Paris editions)
Nancy also reported as a stringer for People Magazine for several years, covering events from the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, while on other occasions she’s taken the TGV with Tom Cruise to Marseille.
