Nathalie Sayago

Nathalie Sayago (1989), is an Venezuelan photojournalist. Was born in Venezuela of Colombian parents. She graduated in Social Communication from the University Catholic Cecilio Acosta and carrying out various workshops and photographic courses in the School FotoArte, located in the city of Caracas. In 2014, she began his professional career of journalistic photographer working for the Magazine Épale Caracas and then going on to carry out photographic journalism in the Newspaper Ciudad Caracas. In the same year, she exhibited for the first time in a «Revisited City” collective exhibition, in the Month of Photo organized by the Alliance Française of Venezuela. In 2015 it culminates the Diploma of Techniques and Photographic Arts in the Venezuelan Association of the Photographic Community and Related (AVECOFA). She worked in the newspaper El Universal (2017) and the International News Agency EFE sectional Caracas (2017-2018). In 2017, she participated in the collective exhibition “Documented Humanity» organized by 24HourProject in Lima and in 2018, exhibited Photographic “Vision Shared” in the same city. She worked in the Andina News Agency in Lima, Peru (2018-2019). In 2019, she participated in the collective exhibition “Documenting Humanity» organized by 24HourProject in New York, EEUU and Tehran, Iran. The same year, participated in the photographic residence with a gender focus “Existimos” organized by Warmi Photo in Sucre, Bolivia.
