Alessandro Negrini
20024 Garbagnate Milanese, Metropolitan City of Milan, Italy
My name is Alessandro Negrini. I am 33 years old and I live in Garbagnate Milanese, near Milan.
At the moment I’m working for an international Swiss company as product engineer, but my dream job is being a professional photographer.
I fell in love with photography five years ago. During the Christmas holidays my parents gave me a little compact camera as a present. And since I live near Monza's Circuit and I love sports, in particular Motorsport, it was easy choosing where to start: I really like to photograph on track and I had the chance to do that in Misano and Monza. I also had a collaboration in occasion of F1 GP, but in the following years I lost interest in this kind of photography, so I decided to experiment other styles.
I had my chance when a Milan stylist choose me for a photo-shoot of her new collection and I found myself, for the first time in my life, on a set full of babies and children. But I love challenges and I found that experience really constructive. Indeed, thanks to that experience, I started to work during ceremonies, especially weddings. I really like to capture the emotions and feelings that emerged in that situations.
But I also started to experiment in street photography, observing the life around me and trying to capture it with my camera. And I do really like landscapes: I could spend hours photographing the magnificence of nature.
However the truth is that I’ve never lost the passion for sports, so since 2013 I have a collaboration a basketball web site called Basketuniverso.
And I never stop learning, so during this years I join some ambassador teachers (Andrea Belluso, Giampaolo Sgura, Chris Lowrence) to study different type of camera (as phase one or Leica) and flash solutions as prophoto or quantum light.
