Neil Massey

Neil Massey is a British documentary photographer currently based in London. Neil started out as an editorial photographer specialising in music and youth sub-cultures. A recurring theme and subject he has been revisiting ever since. During this period he shot the likes of Pharrell Williams, Kelis and Noel Gallagher.
From 2009-2015 Neil lived and shot in Vietnam where he spent time working on long-term personal photographic projects. He was primarily interested in documenting the country’s young demographic and the effects of Vietnam’s rapid growth on its people and environment.
Now back in London, these bodies of work are now coming to fruition. Neil is working on a series of self-published books and forthcoming exhibitions about contemporary Vietnam.
