Long story short: I do funny stuff. Irony is my main tool, always combined with a typewriter (aka laptop) and a camera.
Want to dig into it?
Please, have a seat then.
I started writing for the international watch magazine Orologi da Polso back in the early 90s, as the Swatch phenomenon expert (and the pop design subculture that has followed it).
Then I moved on becoming a contributor for a bunch of Italian travel magazines - Bell'Italia, Bell'Europa and In Viaggio - for the leading publishing company in that field (Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori).
For In Viaggio magazine I was the curator of the quarterly 48-page lifestyle projects about motorcycles and fashion.
For the same company I worked at the Press Office as the Newspapers and Magazines attaché.
In the meanwhile I took part in a web based startup named Tantiauguri.it (ghost writer), the very first Italian experiment for the online greeting cards service.
As a side project I got involved with the Trussardi fashion brand to develop a fully customized show car in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz.
In 2001 I became a professional photographer and right after it I entered the Grazia Neri Agency.
I spent a lot of time traveling through my Country and abroad (Europe, US, Lebanon, Africa and Sri-Lanka).
In 2008 I moved to San Francisco, California, to follow by close the Silicon Valley revolution for LUZ photo agency.
From mid 2014 I've been living in the South Eastern Sicily.
My deliverables are: photo features (commercial and editorial), articles, lectures and exhibitions.
