Milano, MI, Italia
I was born in Alessandria in Piedmont, Italy in 1981 and graduated in International Economic Integration from the University of Pavia in 2007. I first got into photography while I was at university and since then it has gradually developed into a way of telling the stories that interest me.
I collaborate with the photographic agency FotoUp, with whom I have published a feature from New Orleans on the third anniversary of hurricane Katrina (2008), a group report on the aftermath of the earthquake in Abruzzo (2009), a report from Tunisia on President Ben Ali (2010) and a feature showing the celebrations of the Egyptian community in Milan following the fall of Hosni Mubarak (2011).
I live in Milan and work for the Eni group on corporate sustainability projects and local community initiatives. This has given me the opportunity to document and experience first hand the work being carried out on the ground and to visit a variety of interesting locations.
I have also worked with NGOs and local organizations in Nairobi on a series of photographic projects designed to promote social and economic development initiatives.
Meanwhile, in Italy, I have been working for a number of years now with Giulio Di Meo on workshop-based social photography projects documenting everyday life in various Italian neighbourhoods
