Domitila Modesti is an Argentinean photographer born and raised in Kaduna, Nigeria. Studied photography at the Argentinean School of Photography (EAF), Documentary photography at ARGRA (Argentinean Graphic Press Assoc.), with Pulitzer Nominee Don Rypka, B&W Lab photography restoration with G. Frittegotto, and Studio photography with M. Marcu. Specialized in Social and Street photography. Awards: 2016: Finalist, at the 9th Pollux Awards, 2016. 2011: Winner of the First prize of the City views section, Focus on Latin America, organized by the CEDLA (Centre for Latin American Studies) Workshops: Basic Photography and Social Media for Awareness purposes organised at: One Environment, for environmental disaster witness and awareness July 2016 - Abuja UNICEF, for Humanitarian awareness with all the Media officers in Nigeria, at HQ in Abuja, November 2016.
