Humphrey Odero

Humphrey Odero was born in 1986 in Kisumu Kenya. He is still studying at Nairobi University to attain a Bachelor’s degree on a double major on Psychology and Sociology. Humphreys work draws inspiration from daily lives of people living around him and what goes on with their lives. Humphrey has been involved in a number of workshops in his seven year period as a professional photographer. He has received awards from eyeseeafrica and Photographers association on Kenya awards 2015(runner up in the daily category and third place in the news category). He has also been in touch with other artist from different fields of art, to come up with an exhibition at the National Museum of Kenya and his work has been exhibited at the Addisfoto fest 2014. He has also been involved in a solo exhibition at Alliance Francise in Nairobi. Humphrey currently works on solo projects.
Recently Humphrey was involved in documenting palliative care in Kenya with photojournalist from Kenya and students from Tufts University.
