Kim Fox is currently an associate professor of practice in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JRMC) at The American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt. She primarily teaches Audio Production and Multimedia Writing.
She received both her B.S. and her M.A. degrees from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Kim spent decades working in the radio industry in the U.S. and before arriving at AUC in 2009, she was a weekend radio host and reporter for WOSU AM/FM/TV, the NPR affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. She is active on Twitter and her research interests are social media as well as minority representations in media.
