Oliver Molesworth
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Director & editor Oliver spent most of his childhood living a dual life; sometimes as a socialite city boy in Melbourne - Australia, the other half as a country boy on his family owned outback farm in central Australia.
He began his movie making career at a very early age, creating homemade movies whenever he could get his hands on his parents videocamera. His films soon caught the attention of his school after being the only student to enter a movie for his school year’s history exam. Not only did he direct but he also acted as every character in the film…besides one being his mother. It was shown throughout the school for its exceptional example of historical facts shown creatively, which seemed to please the usually bored students.
Due to popular demand - the next year history exam Oliver entered an eagerly awaited sequel to which he instantly received an A+ on the spot.
Oliver went on to double for Daniel Radcliffe’s feet in the feature film December Boys - true story. He was also the motorcycle stunt double in the American feature film Broken Hill. Oliver eventually enrolled at RMIT University studying Screen & Media Production. He then pursued further studies at the acclaimed Australian film school AFTRS completing a Graduate Certificate in Directing.
With a slew of short films, music videos and commercial work under his belt, Oliver is not only making a name for himself in his home country but is also accumulating numerous international clientele though his travels.
Oliver now resides in New York City —Where he very quickly has become to be known as the ‘go to editor’ being a director who has an extensive post production background and is highly skilled with using an array of technologies and software.
