Oliver Wand
Berlin, Deutschland
It’s safe to say that Oliver is an artist. Starting out as a musician, Oliver fell in love with the creative process early in his life. Following by years of touring the world, working with amazing artists such as Robin Grubert (Sasha, Keri Hilson) or Tino Oac (Söhne Mannheims) he always captured his travels and before he knew it, he realized that photography was his true passion.
So in 2013 Oliver went for it full time, and yet hasn’t looked back. In a short amount of time Oliver earned the respect of artists, photographers and celebrities alike.
Oliver has taken portraits of familiar names such as Ron Perlman, Dana Delany, director Marc Forster (Monster’s Ball, World War Z), Ronny Cox, Sarah Clarke, Rick Cosnett, HEINO, Mousse T., Moses Pelham, Roger Cicero, Eko Fresh, Mateo, Jochen Schropp, Charlotte Würdig, Verena Wriedt and Katy Karrenbauer, just to name a few. Due to his history as a touring artist a lot of his clients are entertainment based, including Universal Music, AKG/Harman or Monster Cable Products. His work has been published in several magazines.
Furthermore Oliver always supported humanitarian projects. Therefore he also decided to release his first book in 2014 in favor of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins sans Frontières (MSF).
Photography has taken Oliver to several continents. He traveled with Finnish success band “Poets of the Fall” in 2012 to document their shows not only in Germany and Finland but also in Moscow, Russia. Oliver’s 2007 journey to Afghanistan as guest of the ISAF had a strong influence that remains with him today.
