Olivia Mann
Montréal, QC, Canada
I am a freelance photographer and Director of Photography living in Montreal
The importance of sharing peoples journeys’ to help others understand the world we live in, is what I am dedicated to. I tell these stories with sensitivity and integrity.
I work with charities and NGOs on multimedia projects which articulate their work in an intimate, compelling and informative way.
Both alone and as part of a team, I have worked around the world on independent projects and commisisons. These include the Saharawi refugee camps in Algeria’s ‘Devil’s Garden’, Myanmar‘s war-ravaged Kachin state; South Africa’s townships and down-town London!
I became a freelance photographer in 2004, having studied Psychology at the University of Leeds and gained experience in documentary research and photographic publishing. Storytelling is at the centre of my work.
