Onur Erem is an İstanbul based Turkish journalist. Having BA degree on Social and Political Sciences, and MA degree on Media, he has been working for BirGun newspaper in Istanbul since 2010. He has covered many topics including Gezi uprisings, politics, ecology and freedom of expression. His works appeared on Washington Post, Die Tageszeitung, Mundo Obrero, Espace de Libertés and many others.
Erem has made interviews with many international figures like Noam Chomsky, Tariq Ali, Alain Badiou, Manolis Glezos, Bertell Ollman...
He also works as a translator and world news editor for BirGun newpaper.
