Patrick is a professional photographer with a passion for breathing life into every shot. Known largely for his unprecedented work capturing the true essence of the human character, Patrick has been commissioned around the globe to document important life events of companies, families and individuals. He was invited to photograph the largest Russian business deal in the last four years between Rosneft and BP (worth $25 billion), and recently had the pleasure of photographing Charles Aznavour at an exclusive private party.
Patrick holds a photography degree from the UK but as a life-long lover of learning, he is largely a student of his own experiences, and has also been mentored by some of Munich’s finest photographers. Prior to his career in photography, Patrick was a UK-based art dealer until he moved to Germany in 2006. After founding an online platform for artists to sell their work, Patrick became inspired to take up the art of photography himself, and he hasn’t looked back.
Today, his work largely focuses on reportage, lifestyle and portraiture photography, and he serves a wide variety of clients including corporate, non-profit and government agencies. He conceptualized, directed and photographed a five-shoot commission for the European Commission, and is currently the resident photographer for the Dorset Opera festival in the UK. His photo-journalism work for the refugee school in Munich continues to gain interest, and two exhibitions of his work have been shown this year along with a forthcoming exhibition towards the end of 2015.
Patrick places equal value in finding common bonds, building long-term relationships and his photography. For Patrick the beauty in photography comes from discovering and capturing the characters, moments, and places that all equate down this simple, shared thing we call the human experience. He is always eager to meet new faces and enjoys finding new subjects to photograph, no matter where they might be.
