Los Angeles, CA, United States
I'm a Los Angeles based photojournalist with a background in television production. I can be found either shooting stills while on assignment or shooting video for clients such as ESPN.
I spent 10 years working in Los Angeles as a freelance camera operator and sound mixer before deciding to follow my passion for photojournalism in 2010. That's when I moved to Missoula, Mont. where I attended the University of Montana's School of Journalism. While in Missoula I freelanced for AARP, New Republic Magazine, NY Daily News and PBS NewsHour.
My work in Montana led me to a job in Michigan as a multimedia journalist with MLive.com's Ann Arbor News - a web-first publication. While there I covered everything from breaking and general news to features and sports at the University of Michigan and the Detroit Lions. My work was picked up by the NY Times, Time.com and I freelanced for the LA Times and Wall Street Journal.
In 2015 I moved back to Los Angeles where I'm freelancing full time.
