Berlin, Germany
When I was 15 I got my first analogue camera which opened up a new world for me.
Since then photography has developed into a great passion of mine.
However studying in Journalism my focus was on photography. After receiving Bachelor degree from the University in Rio de Janeiro, I moved to Berlin in 2008 where I studied Photography from 2010 to 2013 at Ostkreuz Schule für Fotografie.
During my studies I had an exhibition at EINSKOMMAVIER in Stuttgart in July, 2011.
One year later, I was part of a group exhibition called Unlikely Encounters One at iGel Project Room, in Berlin in March 2012.
For my final project at OKS I did a Portrait Series of Brazilian people in which real events where staged. Each person photographed chose an important moment lived in Berlin to be re-created.
A booklet called “All Ends With Beginnings” was published as part of SIEBEN - Group Exhibition during the month of November in 2013 at Ufer Halle in Berlin.
Berlin made me realize that I’m a person of change and this feeling started shaping my interpretation of photography.
I love to capture moments, and adapt to situations as they come.
Trying to be formless I explore the change within every project.
