"This is so much fun," yells Amarose Gamache, 81, right as he and Winifred "Winnie" Elliott, 87, react to the wind in their hair as they ride in a 1934 Ford Model T. "In 1939 I went to an auction at Sm Reeds farm with only $5.30 in my pocket," remembers Gamache, "I paid $5 for a 1919 Model T and 30 cents for a horse drawn sleigh. We had an old mare from WW1 with "USC" stamped on her ass. She was from the Army's cavalry." (© Paul Conrad/Paul Conrad Photography)

Lynden Christian short stop Dylan Meenk (7) looks to throw to first as he hops over Burlington-Edison outfielder Wes Fleury (24) while he slides into second base during the sixth inning at Lynden Christian High School on Saturday afternoon May 2, 2015. Fleury was called out as the visiting Burlington-Edison Tigers went on to defeat Lynden Christian Lyncs 8-0.
