Paul Richardson is a journalist, photographer and editor.
For 25 years he has worked as a journalist and editor, running a niche publishing company focused on all things Russian. The company's flagship publication is Russian Life, a bimonthly magazine on Russian culture, history, travel and life. It also produces books, maps and calendars, and the literary journal Chtenia.
In 2015, he crafted a Kickstarter campaign that led to an epic, month-long adventure across Russia with Russian journalist and photographer Mikhail Mordasov. Two books chronicling their trip were published in 2016.
In his spare time, Richardson can usually be found running Vermont’s roads, photographing its beautiful landscapes and interesting events, or enjoying a dark cup of coffee (extra room for cream, please) or a hoppy IPA (yes, of course a full pint) with friends.
Each year I also photograph and work as photo editor/wrangler for Festival Napa Valley, an amazing festival of music, cuisine and life that involves shooting over 20 events over the course of 10 days.
I enjoy covering local Vermont events that catch my interest, from the Black Fly Festival to Birdfest, from the Burlington Marathon to the Vermont Renaissance Faire.
