Scott Muthersbaugh is an award-winning photojournalist based in North Carolina with more than 15 years behind the camera. Named Hugh Morton North Carolina Photographer of the Year in 2013, he built his craft in the newsroom of the Burlington Times-News, shooting daily assignments on tight deadlines and collaborating with reporters and editors to tell stories that matter.
Today he runs Perfecta Visuals, a visual content company producing photography, video, and social media campaigns for corporations and non-profits. That mix gives him range: he can work a breaking news scene with a journalist's instincts, then deliver polished brand content and multimedia a client can publish the same day.
Scott also serves as Public Information Officer and Social Media Manager for Guilford County Emergency Services, where he directed public information and media outreach throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and works regularly with local, regional, and national outlets. A former paramedic, he is calm and dependable in high-pressure environments, from crisis coverage to live events.
His work spans still photography, video, and aerial/drone capture, with a Communications degree (Cum Laude, Elon University) underpinning a strong sense of story, framing, and audience.
