Peter De Krom
Hoek van Holland
I'm a Dutch Documentary Photographer that lives and works near Rotterdam.
After graduating from the St. Joost art school in the Netherlands in 2010, I moved back to my hometown of Hoek van Holland, a small town trapped between the North Sea, the 'Westland’ greenhouse area and the channel to the Rotterdam harbors. Here I decided not to find happiness, but subjects and inspiration that cannot always be found where most photographers look. A common theme in his work is peculiar but at the same time typical human behavior.
On a freelance basis I work for newspapers, and magazines like; NRC Next, NRC Handelsblad, the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Dutch Police force.
I'm represented by the agency; Hollandse Hoogte
