Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
Uganda-based freelance photographer and occasional videographer working all over the East Africa region and sometimes beyond. My images have appeared in the Guardian, the BBC, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, Het Parool, the Metro and elsewhere, and have been exhibited in the National Museum of Uganda and the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
I’ve also completed commissions for organizations including USAID, UNAIDS, Comic Relief, the World Wildlife Fund, Bloomberg, Tearfund, Interpress Services, the Interdependent and Plan International.
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam’s BA Photography course in 2010.
In my spare time you’ll find me cooking, shooting personal projects or trying to fix my wonderful but dysfunctional VW campervan.
Images from the USAID/NUTI project ‘A New Dawn‘ were published in a book of the same name and are also on show at the LRA War Memorial Library in Kitgum, Uganda.
