Peter Power is an award-winning professional photographer in the Toronto area with an emphasis on editorial and corporate portraits and story telling.
He has cultivated a wealth of experience during three decades of work in Canada and abroad. With photography and journalism skills honed in the newspaper industry - photographing a wide array of subjects, from business leaders to revolutionaries – Peter is among the top visual story tellers in Canada. Every assignment is well researched and approached with confidence, skill, creativity, and a friendly demeanor that puts subjects at ease and assured of great results. Since starting to work independently in 2014 Peter's corporate and commercial work has grown steadily with innovative, well produced and consistently high quality location photography while he continues to provide editorial clients with the highest standard of imagery they've become accustomed to.
Clients include The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, The Canadian Press, Maclean's, Reuters, PostMedia, National Post, Canadian Geographic, OurKids Media, Communitech, Clothesline Media and a growing list of commercial clients.
Peter also works as a photography instructor at two Ontario colleges and is happy to share his experience and knowledge through instructional workshops and speaking engagements.
