I am originally a New York City based, music editorial, and lifestyle photographer. My affiliation with music, fashion, and nightlife has given me a unique perspective in seeking out new trends and interesting subject matter.
I shoot people, clothing, dancers, artists and their art, as well as brands, products, and the people that champion them. My approach to the imagery is from a documentarian perspective, which conveys the “REAL” function of the product, and it's use in day-to-day life, ensuring a connection with the audience. Capturing the true essence of people, who they are, and the brands they represent is central to my work.
As a visual communicator I feel a great responsibility to my client, subjects, brands, and equally important, the viewer that will eventually digest the imagery.
I am usually out every night exploring the scene, and spend my days immersing myself into the vibe and culture of cities I visit. I stay keen to spotting new trends that will be in designers collections three-to-four seasons ahead of the runway, shooting the music that will eventually be the choice bands and DJs of tomorrow, and experiencing cities that will be the next “go to” travel destinations. I navigate it’s streets as a local with the eyes and curiosity of a child.
