Preston Ehrler
New York, NY, United States
I am a journalist and photojournalist based in Milford, Pennsylvania–which is located in the northeastern corner of the state, 90 minutes from New York City. I work throughout the NYC metropolitan region, and beyond. I have worked extensively throughout the NE Pennsylvania region, and was on the ground during the Eric Frein shelter-in-place, and the ensuing 48 day manhunt, including the only grave-side, one-on-one interview with slain Pennsylvania State Trooper Bryon K. Dickson's mother, Darla Dickson
After living in Manhattan and working in finance for almost 20 years, I became a journalist, writing an opinion column and articles for a local Pennsylvania paper. The job morphed into a passion, and I created MilfordNow, a thriving online hyper-local news site, that garnered state-wide attention, and was sold to Straus News on August 1, 2016.
I have also worked as a freelance reporter at The New York Times.
