Ricardo is an award-winning photographer with more than 15 years of experience in photojournalism, multimedia applications, as well as video journalism.
For the past 13 years he has been a stringer photojournalist for The Associated Press in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Guadalajara, Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona shooting under many different working environments and circumstances, from the Haiti earthquake to a gun smuggling story in Jamaica, professional soccer matches in Guadalajara, Mexico, or NFL games in Arizona to shooting for a multimedia piece on cockfighting in Puerto Rico and Haiti and presidential campaign rallies in Arizona. Prior to this, he had worked in Channel 2 News for Telemundo–NBC/Universal Puerto Rico as a video journalist for 9 years.
