Rogan garnered his early commercial photography experience while working for corporate interests in South Africa’s mining sector (open-cast, underground, infrastructure and services), the local construction industry (infrastructure projects and property development) and while on assignment for many of the country’s major listed corporations.
Rogan's newspaper and press experience includes working on two daily newspapers and a stringer for an international picture agency while he was in South Africa. After moving to the UK in 1990, he worked for a news agency, was a stringer for a wire service, assisted in running a picture library and was a regular contributor to several picture agencies.
After an intense 10 years working in South Africa, Rogan moved to the UK where he picked up on corporate and editorial assignments. In 1994 Rogan moved to Hong Kong to work on contract for a prominent toy company at the time. In 2006 Rogan travels to Canada and the UK. In 2008 Rogan returns to Hong Kong to work on assignments across the region for architectural, corporate and editorial interests.
Through his photography, Rogan has a strong social work ethic, one that's often reflected in the stories that he tells and the work he shares. Rogan has extensive IT, digital imaging and web based services experience - capabilities put to good use on each and every assignment and project. We do good things - not only for you the client but for communities at large - producing images that illustrate the point and tell the story - corporate specific as well as community wide.
Rogan speaks several languages. Among them, he speaks Cantonese with some fluency.
