Rob Johns
London, UK
My photography remains rooted in photojournalism where my journey began on 31 March 1990, when I photographed the Poll Tax riots in London. I came away wanting to change the world, I had found my voice but most of all I had discovered my passion.
In 1993 I studied Photojournalism at the London College of Communication where I gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Photojournalism. Since then I haven’t stopped and photography has become an integral part of my life. The majority of my work now is editorial, I have a diverse range of clients, from charities through to major commercial brands. I’m just as comfortable working in the studio as I am on location, using flash or available light, making pictures of world leaders or the dispossessed.
