Victor Rojas

Victor Rojas is a Chilean photographer born in 1975 and currently based in Santiago de Chile. He started his career in 1998 after studying and working with geo-numerical models. He worked as stringer photographer for different wire agencies and newspapers while developing a documentary work named “Blackparaiso”. In this work Victor wishes both to produce and convey his imagery as an intimate moment, for the shooter and his audience. To him the frame is certainly a contemplative image. His editorial work has been published in some of the most important worldwide media, trying to give the reader, through his images, important clues so it can navigate deeper into the news or stories that he covers. In this line, In 2010 Victor starts direct sale of fine art printings after setting the photo collective “Taller Huelen”.
Rojas also does corporate work putting the same style to the client’s brand. Given to his strong detail to the casual moment his seal got imprinted in every corporate assignment especially when it leads him to a reportage or a portrait job.
