I've developed web and blog content for eclectic audiences. I was born in raised in Toronto's Parkdale district. My dad's an actor, and my mom's an ex-journalist, which was a massive influence on my unconditional love of writing. When people ask me why I write I always talk about my personal experiences living with Dyspraxia, a motor planning, and spatial processing disability. Learning how to read and write was an extremely challenging process. When I finally figured out how to read and write I became an avid reader and writer.
I've written everything from poems, short stories, and one-act plays, to articles, blog posts, and web content. In 2009, I created Rosie Writing Space, my first ever blog. My experiences writing for my blog were so positive that I started writing for online publications. I started off as a blogger, and then I branched out into content creation. Everything that I write is about helping ordinary people tell their stories.
I have a BA in English & Theatre Studies, and I'm currently pursuing an Editing Certification part-time at George Brown College. When I earn my Editing Certification, I hope to continue freelancing, while getting increasingly involved in the web/ blog content management process.
