Felipe Paiva

I was born in 1988 in São Paulo, Brazil. After moving around in some cities of southern Brazil, I started my Biological Sciences studies. In 2011 I graduated with an interest in photography, mainly animals and landscape. After 1 frustrated year in a company I decided to go for a photography career. Soon I got a job as an assistent for Still Life Photography and started a technical course. In June, 2013 when massive protests flooded the streets of Brazil, I decided to go to photojournalism, a more dynamic field. I´ve covered events such as the Ukrainian Uprising, Violence in Rio de Janeiro, protests in São Paulo and Paris and Scottish Referendum.
I did a masters in photojournalism at London College of Communication in 2014 and now I am based in Paris and studying cinema and documentary.
