Rush Jagoe
New Orleans, LA, United States
Know for his classic style, Rush was born in the beautiful states of Kentucky. He grew up loving to hunt and fish, spending much of his youth outdoors. To document those surroundings, he eventually started using his mothers camera. Photographing the living history in the strip mines of Western Kentucky instilled in him a love of visual story-telling.
When Rush moved to New Orleans (where he now calls home), he began working as a photojournalist primarily for The Wall Street Journal. After realizing that shooting advertising and editorial assignments would open up and demand more creativity from his narrative work, Rush expanded his client base. His documentary photography background is apparent in his commitment to authentic work.
Some of Rush's clients include Saveur, Southern Living, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, More Magazine, The Kellogg Foundation, Garden & Gun, and Proctor & Gamble.
