Ruby graduated from the University of Michigan with a dual degree in Political Science and Modern Middle Eastern & North African Studies. Her time spent working as the Managing Photo Editor at The Michigan Daily, the student newspaper at the University of Michigan, has inspired her to pursue a career in visual story telling.
Her work as been published in National Public Radio, The New York Times, The Michigan Daily, The Chautauquan Daily, and Rust Belt Magazine.
Ruby is passionate about collaborating with reporters and multimedia artists to create dynamic visual stories.
She is available for freelance in the Los Angeles area.
