New York, NY, USA
Ryan C. Jones is a freelance photographer who works and lives in New York City. Before relocating to the East Coast, he owned a commercial photography business in California and worked as a freelance photojournalist for The Fresno Bee. He now works as as a freelance photographer for the New York Times and Newsday. His street/scene photography has been used by the London Street Photography Festival and has exhibited in galleries in Los Angeles and Central California.
With a layered and offbeat approach to photography, Ryan tells complex, honest stories about the world around us. Visit the “Scenes” gallery for examples of the rhythm, eccentricity, and reality of everyday life. With this philosophy in mind, Ryan created An Unlikely Scene in 2013: a project dedicated to curating surreal and sometimes bizarre scenes that occur in everyday life all over the world.
Ryan is available for assignments throughout the US and worldwide.
