Ryan Donnell is a photographer with a talent for lifestyle and portraiture. With a strong history in photojournalism, Ryan has a talent for capturing the perfect moment in any situation. After shooting for newspapers such as the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, Ryan turned his sights towards editorial, corporate, and advertising clients. His editorial list includes Fortune, Forbes, ESPN, Money, AARP, The Nature Conservancy Magazine, Midwest Living, Popular Mechanics, MIT Technology, and more. He has made photographs for clients such as The Franklin Science Center, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Barnes Foundation, Amherst College, The Lacek Group, Tierney Agency, Brownstein, Pioneer, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Pennsylvania. He’s been recognized in a total of six American Photography annuals and two PDN Photo Annuals. He’s encountered all kinds of situations throughout his 15 years of photography experience, from a 24-hour ride along with cops in the Badlands of Philadelphia, to a portrait session with Prince Charles and Camilla. Ryan currently resides with his family in Washington, DC.
