Salvador Banyó (Barcelona, 1987) is a Catalan photographer. After starting his journalism studies in Spain and moving to London to finish his degree in Journalism and Communications his interest shifts more towards photojournalism and the power of the image to convey a message.
His aim is to cause a positive impact with his work and to make the audience reflect and act upon current social, cultural, economic and political issues the world faces today. This is why he puts time aside to undertake longer projects focusing on how the changes in the world we live in today affect individuals and communities.
Salvador is currently based in Paris where he works for the Italian agency NUR Photo which distributes his photographs.
