I am a news and features photographer / photo editor and have worked in leading publications in India and abroad for the past 19 years.
Presently, I am working as a freelance photographer with Outlook Traveller, BBC online etc. and based in Delhi.
*Worked on extensive travel assignments shooting for Outlook Traveller and Outlook Getaways guide books in New Zealand, Toronto, Italy, Paris, Switzerland, Finland, Istanbul, Tokyo, Seoul, Maasai Mara, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, UAE, Nepal, Ladakh among other places.
Apart from my extensive experience in The Telegraph, Outlook Group and Gulf News (2000-2003), I have worked on a range of subjects in my assignments – from hard news to features to business, sports and travel photography – and contributed regularly to all the magazines of the Outlook Group, such as Outlook Traveller, Outlook Money, Outlook Business, Marie Claire, Delhi City Limits, Outlook Getaways and so on.
On the managerial side, I have handled responsibilities independently, planned and executed special projects and also worked to build teams of photographers and give them a sense of direction. Based on my skills and experience in Dubai and elsewhere, I feel confident of and extremely interested in handling the responsibilities of a newspaper photo editor / senior photographer in Mint.
