Sarah Lee is one of the UK’s foremost documentary and portrait photographers. Turning professional at the age of 21 whilst studying for her Masters Degree. Sarah has rapidly become one of the principle contributors at the Guardian. Specialising in portraiture features and the arts, her work has been featured not only in print throughout the world, but also on the album artwork of several Coldplay records. In recent years, her concentration on portrait practice has seen two works selected for the world’s pre-eminent photographic portrait prize The Taylor Wesssing exhibition at London’s National Portrait Gallery. This year Sarah was approached by BAFTA to bring her unique photographic vision to their awards ceremony. The resulting body of work was recently exhibited at the Leica gallery in Mayfair and at BAFTA’s own gallery in Piccadilly.
