I attended Texas Christian University and am a member of the Frontline Freelance Registry (London). I have lived and worked in the Middle East, East Africa and Western Europe. My work encompasses fine art, documentary, and editorial photography. My work from the streets of Cairo has been featured in The Guardian. I was profiled, interviewed and a photo-essay of my work from Cairo published on The Next Web, and I authored a story and photo essay of my images from the Egyptian Revolution for an Atlantic Council’s ‘EgyptSource’ feature, as well as other publications, both print and digital. The album from Egypt, “City of Dust: A Pastiche Of The Street” ( Ville de Poussière: Un Pastiche de la Rue, مدينة الغبار ) , is a 2-year photographic odyssey created on the historic Al-Muizz Street while I was based in Cairo, and has been featured in numerous documentary publications and websites, including my story and photo essay featured in the current online edition of the Cairobserver, and will be in the upcoming print edition. The series, “Warflower: Cairo In Revolution”, was primarily composed in the famous Tahrir Square during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011.
