Sébastien Erôme

Born in 1973, Sebastien Erôme obtained a Masters in Art History and Archaeology at Lyon II University. In 1999, after several years abroad, including one working as an archaeological photographer in Alexandria, he embarked on a career in photo-journalism, collaborating with both the French and international press, and picking up the odd award along the way. Since 2008, he has been working in a new field of photography, both documentary and poetic - a gaze from a different perspective, an inch or two further away. He has been represented by the photographic agencies Editing and Signatures, having participated in the launch of the latter in 2007.
