This project is a work in progress, which I follow for some time.
Metaphor of human loneliness in front of the world, to nature.
It takes people in their moments of relaxation, holiday. They are isolated or in small groups, mute in front of the sea. Sometimes they seem fixed, locked in a space suspended, Snap from the hypnotic flow of the waves, wrapped in their thoughts. It almost seems that these places would lead to reflection. This suggests to me a relationship of profound loneliness in the face of nature.
The sea, the water, symbolizing the unknown inscrutable, fluid element always equal to itself and always different. Primordial element, essential, constitutive, but also disturbing, unfathomable, without proper form, immense, mysterious, magnetic and repulsive, able to stir up anxiety and calmness, pleasure and pain.
